Ladakh
Is amongst the most beautiful & challenging places in the country. We at Let’s Go Outdoors believe that every person in 21st century need to challenge their own limits. We are surrounded and spoilt by easily available luxuries. This is the terrain which will test your physical as well as mental strength. This will challenge you in every possible way & if you win this, you will be the completely different person all together.
Let’s Go has been arranging trips to Ladakh for last few year now. Every year the plans & the itinerary changes and keeps getting better & better.
This year we arranged the trip which was via Srinagar & Kargil, this helps the first timer to acclimatise the altitude. Srinagar is the place of gardens and lakes. During this visit we got chance to explore Nishad gardens, Chashmeshai (royal fresh water spring), ride in a Dal Lake and stay at one of the most beautifully carved house boat, relishing mouth watering kashimiri delicacies. The taking a road trip via Kargil though scenic Kashmir valley to reach Leh.
This is where the actual challenge begins, Leh is the base of our Ladakh trip, from where we visited all the places like Diskit Valley vis KhardungLa (world’s highest motarable road), Pangong Lake.
Traveled to Turtuk, home stay at Diskit, Camel ride in the sand dunes, visited organic farm to hand pick our own vegetable for our meals, visiting sulphur spring at Pramanik, Diskit monastery & tent stay at Pangong Lake are some of the high lights of the trip.
Enjoyed every minute of the Ladakh trip, driving through the difficult terrain, meeting nomads in their tents and sipping butter tea with them. talking to locals the shepherds & eating fresh apples all through out is just mind blowing.
