Educational Trip to Karnataka

Let’s Go Outdoors for the first time organised a trip for differently able kids for one of the schools in Mumbai. The kids come lower income group and the motto of the trip was to expose them to the historical monuments & wilderness. There is nothing better than Karnataka.
So Let’s Go took them for their education trip to Banglore Mysore Srirangapatnam. This was divided in to two separate groups  of 84 & 53 participants, included students and teacher.
Journey began with slightly worried parents at the CST railway station who had come to drop their kids. However they were also rest assured that they kids are in the safe hands and experienced members of the Let’s Go team.
In this trip we visited Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace, Ranganthittu Bird Sanctuary where they enjoyed boat ride which got the kids very close to the birds and crocodiles, Brindavan gardens was mind blowing along with fountain show, early morning visit Chamunda Hills to see the ages old temple and the birds eye view of the Mysore city, guided tour of Mysore Palace was worth all the efforts, visiting one of the best zoos in the county in Mysore zoo, Jaganmohan palace to see painting of Raja Ravi Varma & other renowned painters. Apart from all this we also went for a safari in Bandipur forest to see the flora and fauna in their natural habitat.
